Kanye West Says He Wants to Open a Yeezy Store in Atlanta, Go Global

Kanye West said he was interested in opening a Yeezy store in Atlanta.

The rapper just recently parted ways with popular clothing retailer GAP, claiming the company breached its contract to sell Yeezy GAP.

“I signed contracts with both Adidas and GAP because they stated in their contracts that they would build permanent stores, but neither company did that,” West said in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.

Kanye West says he is interested in opening a Yeezy store in Atlanta.

“Simply put…while we have a common vision, how we work together to achieve that vision is not aligned,” Mark Breitbard, president and CEO of GAP Brands, told The Wall Street Journal.

Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted said in August that West could be the company’s most important partner, The Wall Street Journal reported. The newspaper reported that Adidas is trying to find a way to continue the partnership.
