Adidas Launches New Sustainability Initiative
Adidas has announced its latest sustainability initiative, which will see the company reduce its carbon emissions by 30% over the next five years. The sportswear giant plans to achieve this by using renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, in its factories and offices around the world. In addition, Adidas is committed to using only recycled polyester in all its products by 2024, as well as reducing the water usage in its manufacturing processes. The company has also pledged to increase transparency in its supply chain and improve working conditions for factory workers. This latest initiative is part of Adidas’ ongoing efforts to become a more sustainable and socially responsible company.
